Dear Colleagues,

I am writing to invite you to participate in an important Delphi study being conducted in collaboration with the National League for Nursing (NLN). This study brings together a select group of nursing educators and leaders to help identify priority curricular competencies for nursing programs across all educational levels, from LPN/LVN and RN programs through doctoral education.

Your input is especially valuable, as the findings from this work will help inform and strengthen competency expectations for nursing graduates nationwide. The survey asks you to rate proposed key competency areas as Yes, Maybe, or No for inclusion. Completion time is approximately 2–5 minutes, and responses are anonymous. Only three brief demographic questions are included.

You are welcome to complete more than one survey if applicable; however, we ask that you please complete at least the survey most relevant to your current teaching role or program level.

Round 1 of the Delphi survey will close on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 4:00 PM ET.
